Things to do in Boracay!
The second day in Boracay was an activity filled day with banana boating and parasailing. Now, banana boating I have done before, but parasailing I have always wanted to do. I included prices.
It was a beautiful day to roam around the island. There were a lot of tourists since it's summer.
Of course the kids would get braids. It was 300 pesos. Too bad Mimi's hair is still short, I would have wanted her to get one too.
Banana boating was 200 pesos each. This was so fun! We opted for a twin banana boat because the kids were also going to ride. The twin boats don't fly off or throw people off when the speed boat is going really fast. It was a fun safe ride with the kids.
They took us pretty far where the water was really blue and you can tell that it was really deep. Mimi was sitting infront of me and I was holding her so tight. I was getting a little nervous, but little did I know when I checked on Mimi she was fast asleep with her head pretty much hiding inside the life jacket. I guess she thought it was a rocking boat. It was so adorable and everyone just started laughing. The island view was amazing.
I have been wanting to go parasailing in so long and in Boracay I finally did it! It was 300 pesos each person and you can go by 2s or 3s. I went with my nephew and niece. Mimi was too small so she stayed on the shore. The only downside to this is that is you get dizzy easily, then prepare some white flower ( its this liquid aroma that takes the dizziness away). I got dizzy in the boat ride because my cousin and his kids went before us and the speed boat had to go really fast and go around a lot in circles. When it was our turn we were strapped by harnesses. When we were up high we had a great view. I was bummed that I didn't have my camera :(. Also when you are up there you cant escape the light headedness. The view was amazing though. You can see almost the whole boracay island. It was a little bit scary how far up we were. We also saw other parasailers and everyone exchanges greetings. We also started singing Top of the World. lol it was such a fun experience.
"There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them."
– Jo Walton
Walking around at night to buy souvenirs. There was also a 2 minute black out. It was pretty scary, but everyone remained calm.
Leaving boracay we had to talk a palm boat. It was arranged with the hotel.
The love of my life enjoying her life.
